Camilla Kay Osborne went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hillview Health and Rehabilitation Center. Camilla loved and cherished her family. She was a faithful servant of God and attended church at Berea Baptist. She enjoyed children and had a special calling to help them at every opportunity. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Irene Matheson, infant brother Don “DW” Matheson, brother Ralph Matheson, sister Mary Ruth Matheson, and great grandson JaKari Phillips.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Harold Doug Osborne; her children, Donnie Cardwell, Tammy Osborne, Lajonya Hopkins, and Douglas Osborne; her grandchildren, Amy Cardwell, Donnie Lee Cardwell, Ayonjaleea Phillips, Rio Phillips, Lindsey Osborne, Haley Osborne, Ashley Oliver, Daniel Lipford, and Cody Lipford; many great grandchildren; and her sisters, Kathy Torbett and Wanda Shupe.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Pastor Roger Hopkins officiating. The graveside service and burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2024 at Reece Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donnie Cardwell, Caleb Tester, Douglas Osborne, Charlie Osborne, David Torbett, and Jake Osborne. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Doug Osborne and Hunter Paisley.
At other times the family will receive friends at home, 174 Eller Road, Mountain City, TN 37683.
