Camille J. Dolce, 89 of River Vale, NJ and formerly of Valley Cottage, NY was called to eternal rest on September 17, 2025 after a long illness. She was born at Bronx Union Hospital on July 16, 1936 to the late Mildred and Dominic Camasto. She graduated from Evander Childs High School followed by Gibson Business School. Her most precious role throughout most of her life was as a loving and caring wife and mother. She met a young man from the neighborhood and married the love of her life, Andrew Dolce on June 15, 1957.

Camille will be remembered for her kind, sweet and caring demeanor. Camille was devoted to her family and friends and raised five children who survive her; Andrea (David Singer), Christopher (Fran), Denise (John Sortor), Paul (Susan) and Daniel (Dawn). Her true joy came from watching and being a part of her eleven grandchildren's growing up; Amanda McCormack, Christopher (Christine), Jillian (Fred Delgrosso), Carolyn, Kim, Cassandra (Chris Gendron), Jackie (Dylan Weitz), Jessica, Paul, Drew and Danielle and her six great grandchildren, Leyden and Quinn McCormack, Vincent and Madalena Delgrosso and Chiara and Chloe Gendron. She is also survived by her brother in law, Lawrence and sister in law, Sophie and niece and nephew Stephanie and Michael (Christina), James and Bella Dolce.

Nothing made her happier than spending time with family. She was a loving daughter, daughter in law, niece, cousin and friend. Camille was predeceased by her brother, Gerald.

Memory highlights include teaching her children around the dinner table a song that listed all fifty states, among other silly songs. Playing canasta with her friends Carol, Loretta and Joanne, Rose and Barbara on Tuesday nights for over 50 years. Her creative side – painting, needlework and cooking. Her beauty and grace – taking pride in wearing beautiful clothes with matching accessories.

As a young married family, Camille and Andy lived in Quantico, VA, Corona del Mer, CA, Bronx, Ithaca, NY, Lodi, NJ, Houston, TX,and finally settled in Valley Cottage for over 60 years. She also enjoyed world travels with her husband Andy.

The family would like to thank Camille's caregivers throughout the years; Joyce, Delia, Lena, Laura, Yana, Suzie and Lucy. Her family will be forever grateful for your love and dedication to Camille.
