Candiss "Candy" Ann Hart, age 69, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Candy was born the daughter of Donald Louis "Rusty" and Bonnie (Lightfoot) Dennis, on April 20, 1956 in Independence, Missouri. She was a 1974 graduate of Hale High School, Hale, Missouri. On March 22, 1975, she was united in marriage to Larry Hart in Hale, Missouri. He survives of the home.
Candy was a member of the Hale Baptist Church, where she played the piano for 53 years. She retired from Carroll County Memorial Hospital in the Accounts Payable department. Candy enjoyed all types of baking and crafting. She loved attending her grandchildren's many events, they were her greatest joy.
Survivors include her husband, Larry, of the home; two daughters, Jill Minnis of Waverly, Missouri, and Jan Singer (Ryan) of Hale, Missouri; five grandchildren, Leyton Minnis, Carson Minnis, Miley Singer, Quincey Singer and Trey Singer; one sister, Penny Hutchison (Randall) of Overland Park, Kansas; and one brother, Mark Dennis of Hale, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Logan Minnis; and father and mother-in-law, Harold and Bonnie Hart.
Funeral services will be held at Hale Baptist Church, Hale, Missouri, on Friday, June 6, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri. Memorial Contributions may be made to the HELP Services of Carrollton and/or Hale Baptist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601. Online condolences may be made at www.lindleyfuneralhomes.com.
