I just think I'm still in shock, I think Capers was my favorite friend on facebook. It was truly an honor to have met her. I only wish I had the time so many, many of her loved ones did to learn as much as she taught. Miss her already.

Capers was and is such a treasure to so many. Our prayers are in a spirit of gratitude for her life with us and we ask the Holy Spirit to comfort us all in our grief.

I was deeply saddened by the news of your wife passing this morning. No one can prepare you for such a great loss. Please take comfort in knowing that she is resting in the arms of our Lord. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Capers was a good friend to me and another mother to my son, Mark, who is John's friend for several years as they grew and matured. She welcomed everyone to her home and made you part of the family. Although she'd been gone from Atlanta for years, I hold her close as a wonderful friend and miss her laugh and wisdom. She was a special person and made her mark on this world as she will in the next. Much love to all of the family.

Capers was such a treasure to all of us. She lives on in the resurrection of Christ and in our memories. Prayers for all her family and friends. Especially Walter, the children, and grandchildren.

I spent many an hour with Capers at Roper - she was a fascinating bird of a different feather who always gave me insight and perspective! I will miss her!

Capers was a good poet and preacher, an ornament to the church she loved. I will miss her.

Capers' life was dedicated to God's mission for all mankind-to leave the world a better place than when she arrived! She leaves this earth with so many wanting more of her gifts. Capers is now an angel on your shoulder. She will now live through those whose lives she has touched. What a legacy she leaves! We should all aspire to give of ourselves as Capers did! God bless you all! I send my most sincere condolences.

Capers was a special lady, my life is so much better because I had the pleasure of calling Capers my friend. The spirit of Capers will live on in my heart forever! My heart felt condolences to the Limehouse Family!
