My deepest condolences to Cari's family! I didn't meet her one time, exactly one week prior to her death. Hearing all of the kind words of her was exactly the vibe I got just meeting her. Her smile and laugh was amazing. We clicked pretty good in one night, like we had known each other for years! I wish I could have known her longer. She is definitely someone I was looking forward to building a friendship with. RIP sweet woman!

To Cari's family. My deepest sympathy. I worked with Cari for many years and we became good friends . We laughed together, cried at times, and laughed some more. Thats just what we did if we were together Two minutes, we were laughing at something. I feel I know her cherished family whom she loved so much especially Kyle and Kori she shared so much about them. And Dad whom I also worked with. Will always love And Miss you Cari. Till I see you again Cathy (cj) Mounts

Cari had a smile that lit up the darkness like a full moon on a pitch dark night. Her personality sparkled like the stars. Her laughter and sprit were like the bubbles in a glass of fine champagne. Her heart warmed the world like the sunshine on a summer day. Her beauty was like art that only god himself can create. If you really knew Cari, or even just met her, you loved her. She spread joy where ever she went to whomever she met.
My childhood memories are full of memories that included Cari, and her brothers. She was at my house all the time. Spending the nights, going to fairs, family reunions, my dad's shop picnics at Geauga Lake, to Russo's for Ice Cream, she was always with us. We called her our sister, and Mitch and Joey were our brothers. There were seven kids in my family and even my mom would say, what's a few more. They were part of our family. Even now, she and my sister still best of friends and we'd get together when I'd come to town when we could. I regret that we could not this last time I was there. Cari had other plans while I was there. She called me and told me that she and Kim were going to come down and see me. Had I known it was going to be my last chance to see her, I would have stayed a little longer, or met them half way.
My heart breaks and my prayers are with her parents, her children and her family. No parent should have to bury a child, let alone 3 children. I can't even begin to imagine, and no words can be spoken to ease their pain. I pray they find peace.
I know she flies high with Mitch and Joey now. I know they walk with Jesus. Heaven now has 3 perfect angels and the pearly gates shine brighter than ever.
May just a few of those sparkles remain with us in our memories of you, and fill the hole that remains in our hearts. We love you, we will miss you, but we will never forget you. R.I.P. my fun loving friend.

Words cannot express the sadness we feel for Cari's family, Mike, Kyle, Kori, Gary & Linda and Connie and Jack. We hope that you all will be able to find comfort and peace in reliving good memories. In the words of "St Francis of Assisi," where there is despair may you find hope, and where there is sadness, may you find joy in your loving thoughts. We cherish our memories of happy times with Cari and all of the Smith Family when we were all together in Kansas for various occasions, laughing, breaking bread together, playing games, basically just being together and catching up. We will all eventually be together, joining Cari and all of those who have gone before us. In the meantime, may God Bless.

I have only known her for a short time but being around her she made you feel like you've been friends for years. She's sweet, friendly, has wonderful heart and so beautiful and down to earth. We had so much fun together and we laughed about the silliest things but we laughed and I am going to miss that laugh. I am going to miss playing word dominion with her and laughing about the countless games we never completed and forfeited. I am still in disbelief of how and why she was taken. I find comfort in the thought that she is with her brothers whom she loves and she's able to watch over those here as well. I pray that God gives you the strength and healing and comfort in this time. My family's prayers are for your family that you receive peace.

Until we meet again say hello to Mitch and Joey! XOXO!!!
