Carl Edward Barrett, age 59 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. Loving father of Daniel Barrett (Gina), Christina Barrett (Eihab Younis), Nathan Vincell, and Brandy Vincell; devoted grandfather of Jordan Younis, Nathan Vincell, and Jayden Vincell; significant other of Anita Hale Averritt; dear brother of Chuck Barrett (Susan), Ace Barrett, Alen Hillis, and Angel McCullough; former spouse of Donna Barrett (nee Day); uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Patricia and sister, Tammy Young.
Carl was a proud, hard-working member of Local 18, operating heavy equipment, like bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes. In his spare time, he enjoyed restoring automobiles, late-night fishing trips, and spending time with family.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm on Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Busch Funeral Home, 4334 Pearl Rd., Cleveland, OH 44109. Family will receive friends from 4-8pm on Friday, March 4, 2022, at the funeral home. Interment at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
