Carl J Ceposki

Carl John Ceposki, 85 years old, "Carl Scott", "Quail", was born January 9, 1941, and was a lifelong resident of Trenton. He passed away on January 15, 2026, with his loving wife, Josephine (Belfiore), and his son, Carl Anthony, by his side.
"Quail" grew up in North Trenton, attended St. Francis of Assisi School, Trenton Catholic Academy, and graduated from Trenton High School in 1959. Throughout his life he was passionate about the things he loved, and he was just so cool. Always the sharpest dressed guy around, on the dance floor at a wedding, having beach days at the Jersey Shore, listening to jazz, becoming a drummer, playing in a band, motorcycles, performance cars, skiing, boxing, martial arts, a film actor, his dogs, a glass of scotch, his friends and family.
He learned how to do everything over the years, from the steel mill to Coca-Cola, stenography school, to a long and well-known career as a beautician, running his salon Carl Scott's "A Cut Above" in Lawrenceville for many years, his years at Joel Richard's salon, and Richard's Beauty, as well as some real estate on the side.
Carl was predeceased by his father and mother, Karol & Anna Ceposki, and his in-laws, Frank & Rita Belfiore.
He is survived by his wife and son, as well as his in-laws Alfred & Janice Belfiore, his niece and nephews, their spouses, and children.
He will be missed dearly by his close, lifelong friends for his dedication to his family, his good times, laughter, and smile, and his ability to capture the whole room with a great story to tell.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM, with funeral service beginning at 11:30 AM at Murphy Funeral Home, 935 Parkway Avenue, Ewing, NJ.
