Carl Edward Chryst

Carl E. Chryst 76, peacefully passed away on Monday June 2, 2025. Carl was happily married for 48 years to his loving wife Anne M. (Szy) Chryst, prior to her passing on February 2, 2024. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clifford and Helen (Sloyer) Chryst. For many years Carl was a steel worker for the former Bethlehem Steel Company. He was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to go to races with his family and friends. Carl enjoyed spending time with his dog Reese's but his truest passion in life was his family, especially attending his grandchildren and great grandchildren's sporting events. Carl will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his daughters: Rebecca A. Fenner wife of Harry Fenner Jr. and Michelle L. Vlcek wife of Joseph Vlcek. Brothers: William Adams, Robert Chryst and his wife Joann, John Chryst and his wife Cynthia. Grandchildren: Jacqueline wife of Collin Chapman, Michael Osborn, Andrew Reichard and his Fiancée Miranda Hillyard, Matthew Vlcek, Rachel Vlcek. Great Grandchildren: Kinley Chapman, Gauge Borman, Avery Vlcek.

Services will be 1:15pm on Monday June 9, 2025, at the O'Donnell Funeral Home in Allentown. Calling Hours will be 6:00-8:00PM on Sunday and 11:00AM-1:00PM on Monday in the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Kidney Fund care of the O'Donnell Funeral Home.
