Carl Wayne Davis of Prague, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. Carl was born on April 20, 1948, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, to William M. "Bill" Davis and Lucy Katie (Plymale) Davis.

Carl spent his early years in Prague before moving with his family to Tulsa during his freshman year of high school. In 1967, he returned to the town he loved, where he would spend the remainder of his life.

He dedicated many years of service to the Sac and Fox Nation, working in their food distribution program. Carl was known for his strong work ethic, generous spirit, and quick wit. He was deeply loved by all who knew him and will be remembered for his great sense of humor.

A true outdoorsman, Carl had a passion for nature that he passed down to his children. He was an avid fisherman, often found at his favorite fishing holes. Carl also loved coaching little league baseball and softball and served as an umpire for many years. He was a proud supporter of his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, always present at their events and accomplishments.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Lucy Davis; his sisters, Bonnie Betley and Helen Ann Davis.

He is survived by his sons, Scotty Davis and his wife, Erin, and Shane Davis and his wife, Jamie; his companion, Debbie Middleton; his brothers, Paul Davis and wife Treva, Jody Davis and wife Jennifer, Freddie Davis and wife Linda, Alvin Davis, and Mike Davis; his sisters, Rosie Annanders, Kaye McCord and husband Bobby, and Christie Dunsmore and husband Chris. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of dear friends.
