Carl passed away on June 11, 2024 leaving behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by his family and friends. His was like a beacon of joy, illuminating every room he entered with his infectious and jovial demeanor. Carl was a great father above all else, and his love for his children shone brightly in everything he did.
Despite his inability to sing and dance well, Carl's attempts at both brought smiles to the faces of those around him. His sense of humor and penchant for clowning around endeared him to everyone he met. Carl's dedication to his family was one of his proudest accomplishments, as he poured his heart and soul into being the best father he could be.
The services to honor and celebrate Carl Dewayne Edwards' life will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas in Dallas, TX. A viewing will take place on June 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on June 21, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM.
In the hearts of those who knew him best, Carl will forever remain a bright light that continues to shine even in his absence. May his laughter echo in our memories and his love guide us through difficult times. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.
