Carl Fairley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - Maitland Chapel on Nov. 8, 2025.
Carl Raymond Fairley of Deltona, FL passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2025, at the age of 91. Carl was born on April 2nd, 1934, in Baltimore, MD to Albert Fairley and Anna Petit.
Carl began his distinguished military career in the United States Navy in 1958 at the age of 24. Over the course of more than three decades of service, he rose to the rank of Naval Commander. He served two tours in Vietnam and one in Korea aboard the USS Canberra before retiring with honor.
In 1960, Carl married Marilyn Soucy. Together they shared 56 devoted years of marriage until her passing in 2016. In 1972, they settled in Central Florida, where they raised their daughter Paige.
Beyond his military accomplishments, Carl was a man of deep faith and commitment to his community. He was an active member of his church and proudly served with the Knights of Columbus. His life was marked by devotion-to his country, to his family, and to his faith.
Carl is survived by his daughter Paige Fairley and three granddaughters: Danielle Pritchard, Carley Cieslik, and Cassandra Cieslik.
His legacy of service and love will be remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort and strength to those he leaves behind.
