Carl Joseph Hall, 73, of Gentryville, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Carl was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 7, 1952, to the late Richard K. Hall and Norma Jean (Bultman) Reed. He graduated from Bosse High School and earned his associate degree from Ivy Tech Community College. Carl spent many dedicated years working at Alcoa before retiring. He loved nature and the outdoors, especially hunting, and treasured time with his family. Carl took his granddaughter, Stella to her horse lessons each Thursday and enjoyed family dinners at The Log Inn. He made many special memories with his grandchildren boating and spotting alligators at his place in Florida. Above all, he loved caring for others and will be remembered for his devotion to his family.

Carl is survived by his daughter, Michelle Metelko (Johnnie); sister, Millie Stephanus (Randy); brothers, Virgil Hall, Tony Hall (Jill), and Stephen Reed (Sarah); grandchildren, Collen Schenk (Ashley), Ethan Amento, Cameron Amento, Owen King, Dylan King, Aydan Amento, Nolan King, Rylan Amento, Stella Garris, Rose Metelko, Cecelia Metelko, and Meredith Metelko; and mother of his children, Nancy Main.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jennifer King; sisters, Loretta Hairston and Nancy Hall; brother, Jack Hall and Roger Hall.

A celebration of Carl's life will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711.

Friends may visit from 4:00 pm until service time on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Browning Funeral Home.
