Carl F. Harig. Age 61 of Carleton.
Beloved husband of Renee. Loving father of Ethan (Mackenzie) and Ryan (Julia). Dearest grandfather of Nikolaj and Zada. Dear son of the late Morris Harig, Sr. and Justine Harig. Dear brother of Ruth Ann Harig, Helen Ickes, Morris (Butch) Harig, Christina Ray and the late Mary Heaton. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carl Harig of Carleton, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2024, at the age of 61. Carl graduated High School and quickly jumped into full time farming. Later he began his career as "Lead Maintenance Technician" at Bay Corrugated. During his role at Bay, he continued to farm full time after hours. Carl devoted over 30 years of his career to Bay Corrugated where he made lifelong friends. He was a loving father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. He was passionate about farming and had a talent for working on large machines and vehicles. Carl was known for his handiness, sense of humor and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He was an excellent listener and offered great advice to those around him. Carl enjoyed farming, raising cattle (dream of raising buffalo), working with his hands, boating and treasured moments spent with his family. His kindness, wit and generosity touched the lives of many.
Carl is survived by his wife Renee, two sons Ethan (Mackenzie) and Ryan (Julia), two grandchildren Zada and Nikolaj, siblings Ruth Ann Harig, Christina (Dean) Ray, Helen (Gary) Ickes and Morris "Butch" Jr. Harig and a large extended family including nieces and nephews he adored. He is preceded in death by his father Morris Sr. Harig, mother Justine Harig (Eder) and sister Mary (Barry) Heaton.
His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
