Carl Anthony Harris

Carl Anthony Harris passed away peacefully at Children's Hospital after a long battle with Hirschsprung Disease on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the age of 7. He was a native and resident of New Orleans, LA. Carl was a 1st grader at Harriet Tubman Charter School-Montessori Campus. Loving son of Carl Brown, Jr. and A'Shante Harris. Grandson of Wanda Harris who was instrumental in caring for him since birth, they were inseparable, Tyrone Boyd, Carl, Brown, Sr., and Marlene Brown. Great grandson of Alma Lee Harris, Bertha Boyd, and the late Louella Johnson and Billy Harris. Brother of Carl'ey Brown. Nephew of Brittany Harris (Christopher Williams), Ashley Harris (Earl Thomas, Sr.), Carleen, Jermaine, and Carlos Brown, and the late Brandon and Derrick Harris. Great nephew of Alicia Mitchell (Paul Hunter), LaDawn Harris, Landa and Coreen Boyd, also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mark Baptist Church, Israel Baptist Church, Mt. Calvary International, and all neighboring churches; staff and students of Harriet Tubman Montessori Charter School; employees of Children's Hospital of New Orleans, LA, Children's International Hospital of Washington D.C., and Ronald McDonald House of Washington DC., are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Israel Baptist Church 1612 Estalote St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Darrell Mckinnies Host Pastor - Rev.
