Carl Dwain Jantz

Carl Dwain Jantz, age 94, of Brookfield, Missouri, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Life Care Center of Brookfield. Carl was born on December 19, 1930, in Texline, Texas, the son of Otis and Lizzie (Johnson) Jantz. He was a high school graduate of Oklahoma Bible Academy and later earned his bachelor's degree from Grace Bible Institute in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1968. Carl dedicated his life to ministry, serving faithfully as a pastor for many years. He loved reading, especially his Bible, and was passionate about sharing the word of God with others. In his earlier years, he also worked as a mechanic and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. His greatest joy was serving the Lord and ministering to those around him. He was a member of Brookfield Assembly of God Church and was known for his strong, fundamental faith and commitment to his congregation. Carl is survived by his children, Carlyn Ungphakorn and husband Sak of Thailand, Jared Jantz and wife Diana of Waukesha, Wisconsin, Melodee Runyon and husband Roger of Omaha, Nebraska, Glennette Christian and husband Michael of Brookfield; and Hugh Jantz of Rochester, New York. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Marie Jantz and Dorothy Jantz; and ten siblings. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
