Carl P. Lanza

Carl P. Lanza, of Unity Township, and Latrobe, formerly of Trafford, 83, died on Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024. Carl was the spouse of the late Dorothy (Decker) Lanza and, after her death, the late Betty (McElrath) Lanza. He was the stepfather of Cathy (late Terry) Hantz, Donna Clayton, John Decker, Sandra Labrador, Dan Decker, Ken Decker, Paul (Michelle) McElrath and Eric (Maria) McElrath. Carl is also survived by 21 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. Carl was a proud U.S. Navy veteran and a retired rolling mill operator with Latrobe Steel. Friends are welcome on Monday, from 3 to 7 p.m., at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave., Turtle Creek, 412-823-9350, where a Blessing Service will be held on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. Carl will be laid to rest with Military Honors in Unity Cemetery.
