Public Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 28, 2025, 1:00 PM CST at Silmon-Seroyer Funeral Home Chapel in LaFayette, Bishop Robert Lewis | Officiating
Burial will follow in Essie J. Handy Cemetery in LaFayette.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife, Diann Lewis of LaFayette, AL, his daughter, Tonya Lewis of Lafayette, AL, his grandson, Edward C. H. Bullard (Roxanne) of Pasadena, CA and his granddaughter, Shaniqua Rae of Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by his two sisters, Melanie Johnson (George) of West Bury, NY and Alvena Lewis of Pasadena, CA, and one brother, Ozzie Lewis of Queen Creek, Arizona (Rhonda-deceased). He is survived by his aunts (Sue Ann Herrell, Roberta Crosby, Cecila Harris, Mary Owens Lyerly and Missouri Milton), and uncle (Joe Lewis). He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, many cousins, and in-laws (Mother-in-law, Margaret Owens; sisters-in-law, Amelia Carr (Bobb) and Lorene McKesson (Kenny); brother-in-law, Charles Owens Sr.
