Carl (Captain Carl) Meyer passed away unexpectedly on July 3rd, in a place he loved most. Predeceased by his Father (Ernie) and Brother (Ron). Survived by his Mother (Dorothy Dagenais), Son (Ty), Daughter (Sienna), Three beautiful Grandchildren, Brothers (Steven and Joe), Sister (Mary), and an abundance of loving family.
He left a great impression on many faces at Greece Central School District, where he worked. Carl was a loving man, full of life and a helping hand. He gave what he could, and took what was left.

I still can not believe this is real. You were an amazing person and I am so glad I met you. RIP Carl. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dottie, Ty and Sienna and family. We are heartbroken and sad. Carl has been like family for 30 yrs as have all of you. We are extended family and love you all. Carl was such a good friend and we could always count on him if we needed help. We spent many a weekend night hanging out, watching a good movie and enjoying each other's company. He was a great Dad and friend. Carl never looked for a thank you-although we always thanked him and made sure he knew we were grateful. Just a good guy who would help people when asked. Never judged, believed in live and let live. John and I had many laughs with him. I am saddened beyond belief and can't believe I won't talk or see him again. I know he is resting and all of you are in our prayers.
