Carl D. "Coolie" Patterson Jr.

Carl D. Patterson, Jr., known by many as "Coolie" or "Hue Hefner", 28 a native of Hartford, CT passed on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Coolie was born on August 30, 1994, in Hartford, CT to Carl D. Patterson and Uganda Talbert.
Coolie attended East Hartford High and graduated class of 2012 and was an excellent football player and stayed active playing numerous sports throughout his childhood. Coolie was always a vibe to be around and was well known. All those that knew Coolie knew that he would always to keep it real with you whether you liked what he was saying or not. Coolie cared for those around him and would often show it in an aggressive way, but everyone knew that's how Coolie showed his love. He loved his family dearly and was a wonderful father to 6 children and a great big brother to his siblings.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving parents, Carl (Tracy) Patterson and Uganda Talbert; children, Tremaine Patterson, Cynya Patterson, Chloe Patterson, Britton Patterson, Carter Patterson and Sevyn Patterson; siblings, Trayson Patterson, Dayquan Patterson, Keshaun Patterson, Christian Patterson, Caresha Lyles, Katherine Patterson, Asia Patterson, Carlee Patterson, Lauren McCoy, Aaliyah Miller, Summer Patterson, Phoenix Patterson and Carsyn Patterson, paternal grandparents, Carl Spivey and Gail Patterson; maternal grandmother, Maria (Thomas) Talbert; special cousin, Sonsharay Talbert and a host of other relatives and friends.
Coolie was predeceased by his sister, Shakela Patterson and maternal grandfather, Joe Talbert.
