Carl Riddle Obituary

Carl is survived by his wife of 61yrs, Marie Riddle, his son Derrick Riddle, the Hoffman, the Lucas and the Wampler families. Cari is preceded in death by his brothers Ralph Riddle, Ernest Riddle and sister Mildred Wampler.
Carl served in the U.S. Army with the 723 Tank Battalion at Camp Irvin California. He participated in Task Force Razor in May of 1955 which was the first major ground maneuver done in conjunction with a live atomic bomb test operation.
After being discharged from the military he went to work for North Electric Company in Galion, Ohio. In 1964 he wed his wife Marie and began to work for General Telephone Company. He remained with GTE until his retirement in 1988.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Duke Home Care and Hospice and also to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
