Carl M. Ross Jr.

Carl M. Ross, of Warren, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at the age of 87. He was born on April 11, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to Carl and Lena (nee Kos) Ross. Carl was an avid golfer. On September 15, 2004 at Fern Hill Golf Course, Carl stepped up to the tee, focused on the flag on the green and started the back swing he has done so many times. This time his perfected swing had a much different result. Carl joined the elite group of golfers to make a Hole in One. Carl also enjoyed going to the casino. Over the past 20 years Carl and his wife, Diane, travelled to Florida for the winter. Travelling several past times that Carl enjoyed, he especially liked to attend his grandchildren's sporting events. He was the proud grandpa sitting in the stands cheering them on. Carl is survived by his beloved wife of 67 years, Diane. Dear dad of Michael (Kim), Steven (Emily), Cheryl, David (Annette Gattari-Ross) and the late Daniel. Proud grandpa of Michael, Madison, Brandon, Angela and Joshua. Visitation Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 2-8 p.m. at the Wasik Funeral Home, Inc., 11470 Thirteen Mile Road (west of Hoover) Warren. Instate Thursday, September 4, 2025 beginning at 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. at St. Faustina Catholic Church, 14025 Twelve Mile Road (east of Schoenherr) Warren. Interment Christian Memorial Cultural Center, Rochester Hills.
