Carl Evertt Stepp, age 62, of Osceola, Missouri passed away November 27, 2023, in Lamar, Missouri.
Carl was born January 23, 1961 in California, Missouri to Henry Paul Stepp and Sarah Viola (Brown) Stepp. Carl graduated from Golden City High School. On October 5, 2003, Carl married Tammy Sue Owen in Kansas City, Missouri.
Carl worked as a purification superintendent for Kansas City Water and retired after 32 years. He was a member of Newport Baptist Church. Carl loved hunting and fishing and spending time on the farm and in the outdoors.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Sue Stepp; one son, Ben (Rachelle) Stepp of Smithville, Missouri; a step-son, Mathew Hammond of Liberty, Missouri; one daughter, Carla Jayne Stepp of Smithville, MO; two grandchildren, Steven Howard and Corbin Stepp; one brother, Jerry Stepp (Tammy Forste) of Golden City, Missouri and one sister, Paula (Brad) Beemer of Harrisonville, Missouri.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Henry Stepp Jr.
A service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Newport Baptist Church.
