Age 78, of Covington, passed away unexpectedly on November 4, 2025 at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Buffalo.
He was born on September 25, 1947, in Rochester, son of the late Clair and Catherine Boatfield Taylor. Carl was a lifelong farmer who worked alongside his brother Robert for many years at the Family farm in Covington. He also worked for some time at Noblehurst Farms in Pavilion. He enjoyed bowling and took much pride in the upkeep of his lawn.
Predeceased along with his parents is, his sister, JoAnn McCabe.
Carl is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Taylor; his step-children, Joy (Wayne) Lewis of Honeoye, NY, Wendy (Christopher) D’Arezzo of North Carolina, Robert (Natalie O’Neil) Smith of Springwater, NY, Lawrence Smith of Springwater, NY, Katherine Smith of LeRoy, Michelle (Clare) Smith of Pennsylvania, Kippling (Venod) Smith of California; his brother, Robert (Marion) Taylor of Pavilion; his nephews, Wayne (Korrina) Taylor of Pavilion, Andrew (Jen) Taylor of Lima, NY, Glen (Katie) Taylor of Pavilion; many step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on November 12, 2025 from 10am-1pm at Robinson and Hackemer Funeral Home, 246 N. Main St., Warsaw. Carl’s funeral service will be held immediately following visitation at 1pm. Burial at Pavilion Cemetery.
