Carl Tinch Obituary
Born on February 17, 1943, in Charlotte, NC, Dan was the cherished son of the late Carl Clifford Tinch, Sr. and Cornelia Brown Tinch. He graduated from Garinger High School in 1961 and went on to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (formerly Charlotte College). Demonstrating a strong sense of duty, Danny served in the Air Force Reserve.
On June 3, 1967, Dan married Melba Tinch, sharing 58 wonderful years together filled with love and partnership. Throughout his career, Dan was a dedicated sales professional and an entrepreneur, known for his drive and commitment.
He is survived by his loving wife, Melba Tinch; sons, Carl C. Tinch III ("Trey") of Waxhaw, Joseph J. Tinch ("Jay") of Monroe; grandchildren, Adam Tinch of Waxhaw, Emily Tinch of Waxhaw; sister, Ruth Earp ("Ruthie") of Matthews; daughter-in-law, Cindy Tinch of Waxhaw.
