Carl Malcolm Williams "Easy Money" went home to be with his Lord on December 24, 2025. He was the husband of Mary Catherine Monica Murphy Williams whom he shared 50 years of marriage. She was his life partner and friend.

Born in West Chester at Chester County Hospital on February 29, 1944, he was the son of Thomas Williams and Viola Fields Williams and paternal grandparents Thomas Wilson and Josephine Reason Williams, and maternal grandparents Thomas W. Fields and Mary Elizabeth Lee Fields. Family origins were Spotsylvania, Virginia and East Nantmeal, Pennsylvania and Pughtown, Pennsylvania.

Carl graduated from Biddle Street School and Henderson High School class of 1962 where he was a member of the concert and marching band. He was also a proud member of the Vocational Arts program with a specialty in automotive maintenance and repair. Carl attended RETS Electronics School, Lincoln Prep School, and Temple University, along with Johnson Control Institute in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

As a devoted member of Bethel A.M.E. Church, West Chester, PA Carl served as Finance Chair, Trustee Chair, and Inspirational Choir Chairperson.

Carl was a past officer of Chestnut Grove Cemetery serving with his mother, father, brother and sons in the care and maintenance of an African American Historic Cemetery.

He was employed at Harowe Servo Controls, West Chester, PA as Engineering Manager, Johnson Control of Milwaukee, WI and Sales Engineer, Williard Inc. of Jenkintown, PA as Special System Manager and Elliott Lewis Corporation, Philadelphia, PA. He finished his career as Director of Planning and Construction and Operations for Cheyney University of Pennsylvania providing more than 20 years of site construction and renovation. His friends at Cheyney were his greatest accomplishment in their performance beyond expectation.

Carl enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed photography, traveling to Europe with his daughter and his late son-in-law Bruno Borras, Golf and Genealogy research.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Mary Catherine Monica Williams, sister Phyllis Williams Hines; five children, Richard Gates, Carl Malcolm Jr., Sherry Victoria, Scott Gates and David Bruce, sister-in-law, daughter-in-laws, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Carl was preceded in death by a brother Thomas "Tommy" Wilson Williams and sister Ola Williams.
