Carla Jean Amendola age 54, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at her residence.
She was born in Erie on April 27, 1971 the daughter of Zelma Jean "Jeannie" Kerner Cooper and the late Edward Amendola.
Carla graduated from Academy High and went on to serve in the United States Army for 4 years.
She worked at the VA Medical Center for many years.
Carla enjoyed helping veterans and will be greatly missed by her mother.
She is survived by her loving mother Jeannie Cooper and her step-father Jerry Cooper; a brother Gaetano and his wife Heather and several Aunts and Uncles.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Colony Pub and Grille, 2670 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505. If you plan to attend, please send an email to Jerry Cooper at [email protected] so he can get a headcount.
