Carlene Annette (Boehm) Hampton

It is with deep sadness we announce Carla Hampton, 62, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Carla was born on October 2, 1963, in Sterling, Illinois, to Terry Boehm and Linda Dunham.

In her early career, Carla owned and operated three independent restaurants in Amarillo, TX, and she went on to obtain her bachelor’s degree in education from Western Governor’s University. She was a talented and dedicated special needs educator, recognized for her innovative approach to teaching until her retirement in 2025.

Carla loved to make people laugh and was known for her incredible sense of humor. She also loved animals, rescuing many in need throughout her life. Other passions included vacationing in the Caribbean and true crime television shows.

Carla is survived by her husband, Michael; her two sons, Bryan and Jared; her mother Linda; and her two brothers, Steve and Scott.
