Carlene, affectionately known as "Memaw, was born June 10, 1957 in Houston, Texas and passed away September 8, 2025 in Onalaska, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Rev. Carlton Joseph Lingold and Pansy Pauline (Brown) Lingold; birth mother, Joyce Kirby; sister, Debbie Meis; and aunt, Mae Kelley.

Our precious Memaw went home to be with her Savior, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and joy that will forever shine in our hearts. Her light for Jesus radiated in everything she did, and she shared that light with everyone blessed enough to know her. She found pure joy in praising her Savior and lived as a true example of what it means to walk with Christ daily.

Memaw's love reached far beyond her family, she was truly everyone's Memaw. She gave freely, loved without reservation, and lifted others up with kindness, compassion, and prayer. Her family and friends will remember her as a loving mother, a prayer warrior, a confidant, and a true friend.

Her passion for life showed in the things she loved. Whether she was cheering on her grandchildren as Wildcats, or startling everyone with a sudden yell from her room during an Astros game, Memaw was the biggest fan you could ever ask for. She also found peace in simple joys, having a good laugh, playing the piano, listening to Christian music, reading a book, watching birds, and spending time with her loved ones.

As a mother, she set the standard of what it means to love unconditionally. She cared deeply for all her children, always reminding them how proud she was of them. And while she may have had a "favorite," she never would have confessed it.

Words can only begin to describe the heart of this incredible woman: loving, selfless, giving, kind, compassionate, prayerful, and strong. She was the hands and feet of Jesus to everyone who knew her.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice knowing she is no longer suffering but is instead shouting praises in Heaven, reunited with her Lord. Her light will never fade, for it shines on in the lives of those she touched.

She is survived by her daughter, Candice Davies and Zachary; sons, Carl Ramirez and Melanie, and Paul Ramirez; grandchildren, Carson Davies, Caleb Davies, Cooper Davies, Cassie Davies, Caylee Davies, Shawn Ramirez, Lance Ramirez, and Brady Ramirez; brother, Brad Kirby and Mani; sister, Vicki Kirby; and brother, Bryan Kirby; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers: Dr. Jake Ard, Donnie McKendree, James Ard, Johny Byrd III, Jack Kelley, Robert Kelley, Tom Youngblood, and Jimmy Steelhammer.

Honorary Bearers: Carson Davies, Caleb Davies, Cooper Davies, Shawn Ramirez, Brady Ramirez, Lance Ramirez, and Allen Bramlett.
