While we wait for the return of Christ, we share with gratitude the life of Carlos Aviles, who entered into rest on September 21, 2025. Born on March 2, 1951, in Quito, Ecuador, to Jaime and Maria Clemencia and grew up with his siblings Jorge, Carmen, Susana, and Eduardo. Carlos then became a devoted husband to his wife of 51 years, Mariana Aviles, a loving father to Juan Carlos (Michele), Alex (Samantha), Kathy (Cristian), and Javier, and a proud "Abuelo" to Jack, Jayson, Christian, Luke, Dylan, Liliana, and Emma.

A man of faith, Carlos loved God and His Word. He cherished family above all, and found great joy in spending time with his children and grandkids. He loved movies, music, soccer and sharing a glass of wine with loved ones. He graduated college and began his life as a banker, later in life together with Mariana, he co-founded a school for disadvantaged children in Santo Domingo, Ecuador, 'Fe y Alegria' before later building a new life in New Jersey, where they poured their hearts into their business, CA's Drapery.

We find comfort knowing that Carlos' legacy of family unity, faith, and love lives on in his family and in all whose lives he touched.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Funeral at the O'Boyle Funeral Home, 309 Broad Street Bloomfield, on Thursday, September 25th at 11:00AM. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 5pm until 9pm. Interment at Cresthaven Cemetery in Clifton.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested a donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
