Born in Manhattan, NY on January 14, 1982 he was the son of the late Hipolito Rangel and Carmen IrisCaquias.
Carlos grew up in New York City and Puerto Rico. He was employed as a chef with Glen Eddy Senior Living until the onset of his illness. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends and sharing his gift of humor. He was always making people smile and laugh. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was predeceased by his beloved grandparents, Polo and Carmen Iris Rangel Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Carmen, Jenny, Manny and Ramon.
Survivors include his fiancé, April Scheels and her son, Alijah Evans; his son, Carlos Rangel Jr.; aunts and uncles, Elena Rangel, Reynaldo (Gladys) Rengal and Polo (Doris) Rangel Jr.; and cousins, Alex Alameda and Bianca (Werner) Domenech-Contreras.
I would like the memory to be a happy one, and leave of afterglow of smiles when my life is done.
