Carlos Gallegos

Carlos Gallegos was called home on September 6, 2022. He was born on April 26, 1931 in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mx. After thirty years, he retired from Border Steel. He was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Carlos became a Cursillista in the late 60's, volunteered at the church, and always helped others in need. He loved the outdoors and spent most of his time working in his yard. Carlos is proceeded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, two son-in-laws and a great-granddaughter. Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Elvira Gallegos. Their nine children, Nellie (Hector), Rosa (Raul-deceased), Belen (Frank), Clemencia (Kevin), Gloria (David), Carlos Jr. (Carmen), Sally (Peter-deceased), Alfredo (Mary) and Cecilia. He is also survived by a younger brother, Salomon, and fifteen grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbears are Carlos Gallegos Jr., Joshua Gallegos, Vincent Granados, Zach Granados, Christian Romero, Joseph Perez, Sammy Salgado, Adrian Arevalo, and Nicholas Douglas. Services will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on September 15, 2022; visitation at 9:00a.m., rosary at 10:15a.m. and funeral mass at 11:00a.m. The burial will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Cemetery, with family gathering at St. Anthony's Parish Hall afterwards. Family would like to thank AmberCare Hospice for the services provided. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Perches Funeral Home.
