Carlos M. Nieves Sr.

Carlos M. Nieves Sr. of Norwalk, CT passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on September 27, 2025 at the age of 75. Carlos was born in Lares, PR on April 20, 1950 to Juan and Ruperta Nieves. He was a gentle soul loved by many. He loved his heritage, music, nature, the New York Yankees, pizza, and above all else, his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn Nieves, his daughters, Jasmin Nieves and Erica Payano, his son, Carlos Nieves Jr., his two grandchildren, Angel Jr. and Jeiliany, and three brothers, Jose, Cecilio, and Benjamin Nieves along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by nine siblings, Antonio Nieves, Benito Nieves, Efrain Nieves, Ana Nieves Soto, Santos Nieves, Wilma Emilia Nieves, Severiano Nieves, Aida Nieves Crespo, and Esther Zoraida Nieves. Visitation hours will take place on Thursday, October 2nd from 4pm to 8pm at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Prayer Service will be held on Friday, October 3rd at the funeral home at 12pm; burial will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, 41 Hecker Avenue, Darien, CT.
