Carlos DeWayne Patterson of Campbellsville, Kentucky, son of the late Floyd Lee Patterson and Annie Alzora Risen Patterson, was born on Friday, March 16, 1945 in Green County and departed this life on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 79 years, 10 months, and 26 days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church for 45 years. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors and going hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Sue Patterson of Campbellsville, having united in marriage on December 31, 1965.
Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law: Michael and Linda Patterson, Timmy and Michele Patterson all of Greensburg, Chris Patterson of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Tyler Patterson, Taylor Patterson both of Greensburg; two great-grandchildren: Emery Patterson, Ensleigh Patterson both of Greensburg; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Johnny Patterson, Leroy and Joyce Patterson; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Barbara Morgan, Patsy and Benny Grant, Sherry and Kenneth Creason; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death two brothers: Eudell Patterson, Shelby Patterson; two sisters: Ovella Nunn, Janice Ervin.

The funeral services for Carlos DeWayne Patterson will be conducted at 1 P.M., Central Time, Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Bro. Cliffton Sullivan and Bro. John Aaron officiating.
Visitation is requested from 4 until 8 P.M., Central Time, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at the funeral home and after 7 A.M., Sunday until time of the funeral service.
The family has requested that expressions from sympathy take the form of donations to the Bethlehem Baptist Church Youth Program which can be made at the funeral home.
