Carlton Ernest Kennedy

Carlton E. Kennedy, age 95, of Winter Haven, Florida formerly of Campbell, NY, entered into heaven on June 7, 2024. He was born February 21, 1929 in Corning, NY to the late Ernest and Dorothy (Carlton) Kennedy.
He is survived by his daughter, Theresa (Don) Thompson of Winter Haven, FL, sons, Scott (Diane) Slocum of Essex, VT and Jerry (Kim) Slocum of Youngstown, OH, brother Wayne (Kay) Kennedy of Painted Post, NY and several nieces, nephews and special friends, Don (Darlene) Mason of Campbell, NY. In addition to his parents, Carl was predeceased by Ruth Kennedy in 2004 and Helen Slocum Kennedy in 2021.
Carl was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He retired from Ingersoll/Dresser Rand in 1991. Carl enjoyed playing golf, watching Yankee baseball and spending summers at Delta Lake Bible Conference.
As a member of the Campbell Alliance Church, he spent time with the youth in fellowship and will be remembered as a caring and giving person.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
