Carlton R Kight

Carlton R. Kight, age 75 of Elkton, FL passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Carlton was born October 11, 1950 at the F.E.C. Railway Hospital in St Augustine, FL He attended Hastings Elementary and High Schools. He retired from the Florida East Coast Railway after 30 years as an engineer. Carlton loved and cherished his time with his children and grandchildren. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 53 years Deborah, his daughters: Kimberly (James) Briggs of Chesnee, SC, Kristina (Larry) Langston of St Augustine. Sons: Camryn and Konner Kight of Elkton, FL Seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. His siblings include sister: Jacqueline (Grady) Gilbert of Sieverville, TN,,two brothers: Gerald (Cindy) Kight and Martin (Susan) Kight both of Palatka, FL
Carlton was preceded in death by his daughter Karrie L. Kight and his parents Jacqueline and Carl Kight of Flagler Beach, FL
He will be remembered for his kindness, unwavering integrity and his love for his family and friends. His laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew him.
Cremation arrangements by Craig Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
