Carman Drake Obituary
SHINGLEHOUSE, Pa. - Carman J. Drake, 82, of Shinglehouse, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 18, 2025) in Sweden Valley Manor, Coudersport.
Born Wednesday, April 21, 1943 in Olean, she was a daughter of Leon F. and Elizabeth Burrows Drake.
Carman was a graduate of Oswayo Valley High School in Shinglehouse. She was employed for many years at St. Bonaventure University in food services and later in housekeeping until her retirement.
For several years, Carman attended the Bolivar 4-C's senior center.
Left to cherish her memory are a brother, Denver D. (Sue) Drake of Shinglehouse; two sisters, Fawzia DeLong of Salem, W.V. and Rachel (Wayne) Bollinger of York; and her nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carman was predeceased by a sister, Nettie Sue Nichols.
In keeping with Carman's wishes, there will be no public services. Burial will be in East Sharon Cemetery, Shinglehouse.
