Carmella DiMuzio, 94, of West Orange, NJ, formerly of Orange, NJ, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025.
Born on July 12, 1930, in Orange, NJ, Carmella was the beloved daughter of the late Assunta (née LaRiccia) and Frank DiMuzio. A lifelong resident of Orange before moving to West Orange, Carmella dedicated many years of service at the Thomas Edison Factory in West Orange until her well-earned retirement.
Carmella was a woman of quiet strength, devotion, and warmth. She treasured time with her family and was known for her gentle spirit and kind heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her dear brother, Anthony Carlo DiMuzio, and her cherished nieces and nephews: Maria Palumbo, Anthony Vivona, Michele DiMuzio, Suzy DiMuzio, Antonio DiMuzio, Denise Funicello, and Frank DiMuzio. Carmella also leaves behind a host of loving great-nieces and great-nephews, all of whom brought great joy to her life.
She was predeceased by her loving parents Frank and Assunta DiMuzio, her sister, Philomena Vivona, and her brother Carlo DiMuzio.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial. Carmella's life will be celebrated with a Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 103 S Center St, City of Orange, NJ to be announced at a later date.
