She was born in Puerto Rico on May 14, 1930. She was the daughter of the Late Pedero Huertas and Edelmira Huertas and the wife of the late Manuel Freytes
She retired from San Francisco City & County Health Department after 25 years of service
She is survived by: Daughter: Sonia Freytes; Daughter in law: Linda M. Freytes; Sons: Manuel Freytes Jr. & Raymond Freytes; Granddaughter: Kelli N. Freytes Price and husband; Grandson Daniel R. Freytes; Great Granddaughters: Star Aria Price and Jackie Price; Brother: Santos Huertas and wife; Nephew: Jamie; Nieces: Myriam, Yolanda, Jenny & Elizabeth
