Carmen G Minjarez, 84 of Odessa went peacefully to be with the Lord on March 17, 2024.
Carmen was born in Pecos, Texas on June 10, 1939 to Mary Hielda and Thomas Granado and married the love of her life, Prudencio Minjarez in 1954. Carmen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Carmen is survived by 1 sister, Margaret (Sipriano) Gonzalez, 2 brothers, Antonio Granado and Joe Granado, 2 daughters, Irene Lujan and Mary Irma Venegas (Orlando) and Son, Michael Minjarez. She has 6 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Carmen is preceded in death by parents Mary Hielda and Thomas Granado (Sr), brothers, Thomas Jr Granado, Rudy Granado, sisters, Louisa Granado and Melba Terry, husband, Prudencio Minjarez, son, Prudencio Jr Minjarez, grandsons, Matthew Minjarez and Joe Anthony Guerra of Odessa.
A viewing will be held at 10am, with a rosary starting at 12pm, Wednesday, March 20,2024, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Service will follow the rosary at 1pm, Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
