Carmen Robles, born on December 22, 1930, in Carolina, Puerto Rico, passed peacefully on September 8,2024, in Orlando, Florida. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will resonate within the hearts of her family and friends.
Carmen had a passion for reading, shopping, and indulging in delightful meals, which she enjoyed throughout her life. Her warmth and zest for life endeared her to those around her. Carmen was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, nurturing a close-knit family that thrived under her love and guidance.
She is survived by her beloved son, Pedro J. Rivera, and daughter, Carmen M. Rivera. Additionally, Carmen took immense joy in her role as a grandmother to five grandchildren and an adoring great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren. Her family will forever remember her kindness, wisdom, and the joyful times spent together.
Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Rivera, and her son, Carlos R. Rivera. She is also reunited in spirit with her great-granddaughter, Johanna Rivera, as well as her parents, Catalina and Carmelo Robles, and her brother, Rosario Robles.
The services to honor Carmen's life will take place on September 13, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home in Winter Park, Florida. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM, leading to the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Following the service, a Graveside Service will be held at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Orlando at 1:00 PM.
Carmen Robles will be remembered for her nurturing spirit and the profound impact she had on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
