Carmen J. Rossi

Carmen J. Rossi, age 94, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at his place of residence. He was born on October 16, 1931, in Westville, New Jersey, a son of the late Carmen and Mary Rossi.
After graduating from Woodbury High School, Carmen served his country in the Air Force of the United States for four years as a Radio Operator. He entered the Air Force in January 1950 and after serving he was honorably discharged in 1954. He returned to Westville, New Jersey where he began his career in computer diagnostics for RCA in Camden, New Jersey until he retired from Sperry Corporation located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. Carmen enjoyed playing golf, running golf tournaments, working on projects around the house, enjoyed the shore house, and fishing (especially Hooked on Fishing). When he retired and moved to Brigantine, Carmen enjoyed working at the boat ramp, was involved with the Sons of Italy, and the Elks Club, volunteered much of his time feeding the homeless at St. Nicks in Atlantic City, working BINGO, and helping out at St. Thomas Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Jaramillo Rossi; one brother, Pasquale Rossi; four sisters, Rose Coniglio, Elaine Bruce, Mary Jane Cahill, and Anita Scherfel. He has three surviving siblings, Gloria Mariano, Diane (Dan) Nickerson, and Joseph Rossi. Carmen is survived by his son Michael and two daughters, Diana Lynn Dodge, and Lisa (Ron) Munn. Loving Pop Pop to his grandchildren Danielle (Sanford) Glickman, Kristin Rossi, Vanessa (Steven) Sauls, Lauryn Munn, and Dustin Dodge; great grandchildren Emma, Miles, Amber, Dustin, Charlotte, and Michaela. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Services celebrating Carmen will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025. Visitation will be from 9:00am to 10:30am in The Chapel at BOUCHER FUNERAL HOME, 1757 Delsea Drive, Deptford, New Jersey 08096.
Religious Service 10:30am in The Chapel at the funeral home.
Interment at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown, New Jersey.
