Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt
Carol A. (Silvia) Sholes, 73, a Dracut resident, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, March 15, 2026, with her loving family by her side.
Born in Chelsea on June 30, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Anthony J. and Michelina (Perrone) Silvia.
Carol was a dedicated Registered Nurse working in the healthcare industry for 45 years.
A faithful and practicing Catholic, she was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut.
She devoted her life to the care and well being of her family whom she cherished.
Carol leaves three children, Kenneth R. Sholes, Jr. of Dracut, David M. Sholes of Fall River and Gianna Giglio of Dracut; her sister, Linda Carolan and her husband Raymond of Dracut; her twin brother, Carl Silvia and his wife Connie of Chelmsford; also several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carol’s Visitation on Sunday, March 22, from 2 until 4 PM at St. Francis Church, 115 Wheeler Road, Dracut. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to: St Francis Parish, PO Box 609, Dracut, MA 01826.
