Carol was always a joy to visit with. She was a strong lady that was very witty. She made me laugh every time we got together. She will be deeply missed. My condolences to her family- she loved sharing stories about you all and was very proud of the family she had!

Doug & I started as tax clients when Carol had an office in LO in about 71-72. We soon became friends & followed with her as she moved to a couple more locations, then finally her home. She became close to our entire family. She was a strong woman who loved the Lord. When she had her gift shop she gave me a beautiful red vase which I still treasure & have in our great room. We often arranged our appointments close to lunch so we could go together. The last time we met she was ready & told us how she felt.
Our condolences to the family. ❤

She was the most giving person I knew. I will always have fond memories of time spent with her as a little girl and all the family Christmas parties. Miss you, Aunt Carol.

Aunt Carol,
I'm not really sure how writing something like this goes but I will try. I will always fondly remember meeting up together at the few car shows we were able to meet up at. Between the Navy and the mechanical status of the Montego it always felt great to park next to you. It made me feel as if people were actually stopping to look at my car and not so much yours.
Your keen ability to be able to bring family together was absolutely remarkable! Whether it was through this families love of automotives or it was a during a very rambunctious Christmas party. I hope one day to be able host the same, sitting around a table, the sound of incesively rolling dice heard throughout the house. Afterwards, enjoy a drink or two reminiscing why we are all there and really who was the one that was able to bring us together. You.
I hope you and Uncle Jim are attending as many car shows as you can in the pearly gates. I just imagine your rod fitting in just perfectly. I always did believe that color was something otherworldly and very heavenly. I will be unable to think of anything else than the time you helped me put on Uncle Jim's Show and Shine whenever I attend any car show from here on forward.
I know I speak for everybody when I say I will thoughouly miss your contagious positive attitude and your mind set of family first. I promise I will do my utmost best to continue what you so effortlessly accomplished on a daily basis.
Thank you Aunt Carol, thank you for helping me become the man I am today. I will dearly miss you and try my best at keeping the family together even after the countless stolen Christmas gifts. I love you.
Love,
Jack
