Carol Anderson, age 77, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023. A funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, November 22 at Bayview Freeborn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Lakewood Cemetery.
Carol Anderson was born on April 17, 1946 to John Sr. and Mary (Conzemius) Zajac in Breckenridge, MN. She attended grade school at Whapeton Catholic church and Alexander Nelson Elementary School and finished her schooling at South High School in Minneapolis, MN. She later moved to Albert Lea where she lived until the time of her death.
In her free time, Carol enjoyed word searches, watching her soap operas, Twins baseball and professional wrestling. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Carol is survived by her children, Connie (Chris) VanRiper, Dennis Ray Anderson, Carla Anderson (Dave Gunderson); grandchildren, Jake (Marissa Garrison), April Garrison, Heather (Joe) Meyer, Kyle (Cassie) VanRiper, Ryan Gunderson, Jennifer VanRiper, Jessie VanRiper, Jessica Gunderson; 22 great-grandchildren; special Friend, Ceres VanRiper; sister Sharon Curo; brother, John Zajac Jr.
She is preceded in death preceded by her parents John Sr. and Mary Zajac; special friend, Dennis Claire Anderson; granddaughter-in-law, Liz Zwinger; sisters, Shirley Reinartz, Brenda Ames; brother, George Zajac.
