Carol Ann Bogue, of Hayes, a truly wonderful wife and mother, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the age of 77. Carol was born on July 18, 1948, in Brookline, Massachusetts, to the late Frederick and Eleanor Carroll Patterson. She was the cherished wife of Richard for 53 loving years. She embodied everything a child or husband could ever desire, dedicating her life to creating a loving, supportive, and vibrant family home. Her greatest joy was her family, and as time passed, her twelve grandchildren truly became her treasure and passion. This deep love extended to her eight great-grandchildren. Carol cherished family gatherings and the beautiful chaos that came with them. She is lovingly remembered by her four devoted children. Known for her boundless energy and generosity, she spent countless hours involved in volunteer work supporting children's activities, always ensuring every child felt encouraged. In her rare moments of free time during the summer, she could often be found on the tennis court. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Lorraine Sellew, and by her granddaughter, Hafsa Eshal Altintepe. Carol is survived by her husband, Richard L. Bogue, her four children, Robbie Strong (Todd), William "Bill" Bogue (Karen), Patrick Bogue (Cherise), and Catherine Altintepe (Kadir), twelve grandchildren, Jessie, Jackie, Hector, Brittney, Nick, Carleigh, Nolan, Jamie, Sureya Ann, Hamza, Adem and eight great-grandchildren Nicholas, Tessa, Emmitt, Elliott, Evelyn, Hunter, Olivia, and Zoe. Carol is also survived by her nieces, Kari Kelly, Christine Barrett, Jennifer Salemi, and Julie Kruger. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. The inurnment is private.
