Carol Diane (Ripplinger) Booth, of Moorhead, MN, died peacefully surrounded by her family, Hospice, and wonderful nursing staff at her current residence, Valley Care and Rehab, Barnesville, Minnesota. Carol, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister went home in the loving arms of our blessed Lord. Her passing leaves a huge void in the lives of her family.
Carol was born on May 22, 1945, to Fred and Katherine (Blotsky) Ripplinger in Mandan, ND. She attended schools in Twin Valley, MN, Fargo, and Casselton, ND. She moved to California where she met Jim Green and they were later united in marriage. Their son, Thomas Green, was born of this marriage. Carol was united in marriage to Loren Booth on December 15, 1978, and they made their home in Moorhead, MN. Together, they raised their daughter, Mandy.
Carol worked at the Vend-A-Wash Laundromat for ten years where she made many friends.
Carol loved spending her time at the lake with her family. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends by cooking and baking for them. We especially enjoyed her Fudge and Sugar Cookies and her wonderful sense of humor. She also enjoyed playing various card games. Carol also had a great love for jewelry. She attended many garage sales looking for the great find.
Carol is survived by her children, Thomas (Tina) Green, Yucaipa Ca; Amanda “Mandy” Booth Fargo, ND; step children, Kim (Barbara) Booth and Loran Booth, Fargo; grandchildren, Brandon (Rachel) Green and Krista (Grant) Rigby; great-grandchildren, Hudson, Weston, and one on the way, Yucaipa CA; siblings, Elizebeth “Betty” Anda, Fargo, Joyce (Jim) Lepine, Bonita Springs, Fl, Fred (Deb) Richter, Sykeston ND, and Rick Berg, Portland Org; and many other loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Loren Booth; parents, Fred Ripplinger and Katherine Whitford; brother, Harvey Berg; sister-in-law, Carol Berg; brother-in-law, Roger Anda; and stepdaughter, Wendy Booth Camp.
Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Moorhead, MN. Final resting place will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN, following services at the church.
