Carol Rose Canada, age 84, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2025, at Baptist Health of Corbin.
Carol, born on 23rd November 1941 in Covington, KY, a daughter of the late Roy Wilson and Josephine Dressman Wilson. Her devotion to family was unparalleled, and her home in Corbin, Kentucky, was a haven of comfort and care. As a devoted homemaker, Carol poured her heart into creating a home that was not just a house, but a sanctuary of love and warmth for her family.
Carol's passions enriched her life and those around her. She had a profound love for reading. Carol was also a passionate supporter of the Cincinnati Reds and the University of Kentucky Basketball; her enthusiasm and team spirit were ever infectious. Carol was an active member of Sojourn Baptist Church in Corbin.
Carol is survived by her children, Steve Canada ( Robin), Jeff Canada ( Janet), and Linda Miles (Paul); 7 grandchildren, Stefanie Sizemore (Aaron), Robert Miles, Annie Miles, Amanda Mitchell (Damion), Erica Keith (Jesse), Jeff Godsey, and Leann Lawson (Todd); 14 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Pat Wilson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Canada; brother Roy A. Wilson; and by a great-grandson, Logan Sizemore.
Visitation for Carol Rose Canada will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where her funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at 2:00 pm., with Rev. Sam Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Terrell Cemetery in Corbin, Kentucky
