Indianapolis, Indiana – Carol Ann Christ-Clifton, 72, was called home on January 5, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on September 29, 1952, to parents Louis & Nellie (Ogden) Christ in Indianapolis. She was a graduate of school 21 class of 1966 and a proud graduate of Thomas Carr Howe High School, class of 1970. She was an assistant buyer for LS Ayres. She was baptized in Christ on December 24, 1967. She remained a life-long devout Christian, calling Tuxedo Park Baptist Church home.
An outgoing and adventurous spirit, Carol became a master hostess. Deeply involved in her class reunions with School 21, family gatherings, and just getting friends and family together. She became her parent’s caregiver in their later years, giving herself to their time and needs.
Carol also loved decorating for the holidays, Christmas and Halloween being her favorites.
In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her beloved companion of nearly 40 years, Tom Ping, sister-in-law Patricia Christ, sister-in-law Sandra Christ, two nieces and one nephew.
She is survived by her brothers Louis Christ, Don Christ (Linda), Terry Christ (Debbie); and sister Kristy Musicia (Frank); twelve nieces and nephews; and 20 great-nieces and great-nephews, 7 great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 4-8 pm at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East (10722 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46229). Funeral services will be held the following day on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Flanner Buchanan – Washington Park East at 11 am. Interment will take place following services at Washington Park
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Carol Christ-Clifton to Tuxedo Park Baptist Church 29 N. Grant Ave. Indianapolis Indiana 46201.
