Carol A. Cole, a beacon of love and wisdom, completed her earthly journey on November 7, 2025, surrounded by the warmth of her family in Dover, Delaware. Born on December 18, 1960, in Wilmington, Delaware, Carol's life was a testament to the power of kindness and the strength of a generous heart.
Affectionately known to those who loved her, Carol embodied the essence of a nurturing spirit from her earliest days. A proud graduate of Thomas McKean High School, she carried the lessons of her youth into every facet of her life. Her professional career as a Human Resources Manager and Payroll Specialist showcased her remarkable ability to connect with people-a gift she continued to share even after retirement from Nickel Electric. Her passion for guiding others shone brightly in her time with Lighthouse Construction, where her wisdom and support touched many lives.
Carol was a devout Christian who lived her faith through actions that spoke louder than words. Her family was the cornerstone of her world. Her beloved husband, Robert O. Cole III, stood by her side for 25 years-a testament to true partnership and unwavering devotion.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Elenor Talarowski, and survived by her children, Amanda (Fred) Ryan and Christopher (Raven) Hayes, who were her pride and joy. She instilled in them the values of kindness, strength, and respect. Her legacy continues through her four grandchildren: Taleigha, Jaxson, Amilya, and Anthony, each of whom brought immeasurable joy to her heart.
Carol was a cherished sister to Bill (Linda) Talarowski and Joanne Iliff. Through marriage, she became part of a large and remarkable family, each holding a special place in her heart.
Her interests were a true reflection of her inner grace. She found peace in the tranquility of her garden, cultivating beauty as effortlessly as she nurtured people. She expressed her love through cooking, creating countless meals that brought her family and friends together.
To describe Carol as loving, generous, and wise only begins to capture her extraordinary spirit. She was a motivating force, inspiring all who knew her to seek purpose, embrace joy, and meet each challenge as an opportunity for growth. Carol believed in spreading happiness wherever she went, and she lived that philosophy every day.
Her legacy is one of unwavering positivity and compassion - a reminder that the impact of a well-lived life extends far beyond the years we are given. Carol's story is not one of an ending but of a beautiful ripple of influence that continues through the lives she touched.
