Carol Jane Cole

Carol Jane Cole, 82, recently of Pensacola Beach , Floridia passed away Peacefully on January 9, 2026. Carol a long-time resident of Willard, Ohio was born December 25, 1943 to Wiliam A. Warfel and Irene Warfel in Galion, Ohio. She graduated in 1961 from Galion High School. She returned to school earning a nursing degree from the Sandusky School of Practical Nursing in 1978. She had a long career as a licensed practical nurse at Hillside Acres in Willard, Ohio. Carol was known for her compassion and kindness to the many residents during their final years of their lives. She was an avid reader, enjoyed many crafts and was often seen on her long fitness walks around town.

Carol is survived by her children Chris (Stephanie) Cole of Pensacola Beach, Florida and Cassie (Gary) Kuhn of Willard, Ohio. Sister Barbara Enders of Marcos, California. Grandchildren Dr. Meridith Cole of Buffalo, NY and Andrew Cole of Atlanta, GA.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband Robert W. Cole of Willard, OH and sisters Susan Busch of Newark, OH, Beth Michela of Bradenton, FL along with her parents.

In her later years, Carol suffered from Dementia. Her Family would like to thank the loving caregivers of Navarre Gardens Memory Care Assisted Living for making her final days comfortable and happy.

There will be a private memorial service at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to the donors choice in Carols memory.
